The Servo Group Pledge
Crime prevention and community engagement, economic growth and environmental sustainability — we take our role in thriving communities seriously.
Meals provided through our welfare centre in the past year
Raised for chosen charities, plus hundreds of paid volunteering hours
Of our core workforce are CITB-registered apprentices, every year
Net Zero target, with a Carbon Trust action plan
We've reviewed our operations, identified our environmental aspects and impacts, and set out how we manage them. ISO 14001 means we systematically reduce energy and water use, with a structured approach to legal compliance.
We're working with the Carbon Trust on an action plan that sets our strategic direction towards Net Zero by 2050 — and we look for sustainable innovations, like solar-powered CCTV, that we can pass on to clients.
Local economies are the lifeblood of communities. We pledge to spend locally, listen to community needs and contribute to their development in meaningful ways.
That means supporting local charities and grassroots sport, sponsoring community events and volunteering — including work with organisations that protect vulnerable people, such as the elderly and at-risk young people.
Our workforce is the backbone of our operation. We hire diverse local teams on the sites we serve, and always meet or exceed the National Living Wage so our people enjoy a decent standard of living.
Every vacancy is advertised openly — through job centres, careers offices, press, social media and our website — and we offer work experience to schools and colleges.
Our board leads our approach to modern slavery from the top down. The policy is communicated to our supply chain and embedded in procurement.
Slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking — as defined in the Modern Slavery Act 2015 — are directly opposed to our values. Our key policies are reviewed and updated every year.
